Direct Billing

At Stillwater Wellness Clinic, we want to make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.

How Billing Works

To help you navigate your appointments, we offer direct billing to a wide variety of extended health insurance providers through our Jane App booking system.

Here is everything you need to know about how billing works at our Langford clinic.

Supported Extended Health Providers

We can directly bill most major insurance companies on your behalf, including:

  • Pacific Blue Cross / Blue Shield
  • Canada Life
  • Sun Life
  • Manulife
  • Desjardins
  • GroupHEALTH / GroupSource
  • ClaimSecure
  • And many other providers connected through the Telus eClaims network.

Please Note: Insurance policies vary. We recommend checking with your provider beforehand to ensure your plan allows for direct billing, as some specific policies require you to submit claims manually.

Important Exceptions

ICBC & WorkSafeBC (WCB) Claims

Please note that Stillwater Wellness Clinic does not provide direct billing for ICBC or WorkSafeBC claims.

What to do if we cannot direct bill your session

If your insurance provider does not support direct billing, or if your visit is related to an ICBC/WCB claim, you will be required to pay for your treatment at the time of your appointment.

Don't worry, we make the self-submission process simple:

  • Get Your Receipt: Immediately following payment, you will receive an official breakdown receipt.
  • RMT Registration Info: This receipt includes your Registered Massage Therapist's official registration number with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
  • Submit to Your Provider: You can easily upload this receipt to your insurance provider's portal, mobile app, or claim form for prompt reimbursement.

How to Set Up Direct Billing

To ensure we can bill your provider at your upcoming appointment, please update your insurance details ahead of time. You can safely add your policy information directly through your Jane App member portal under your profile settings, or bring your insurance card with you to your next visit.
